Tillfälle: Möt Liber-författaren Pekka A. Viljakainen på IMD business forum 21/1

IMD Business School håller den 21 januari ett event i Stockholm, i samarbete med Fortum. En av talarna är Libers författare Pekka A. Viljakainen (“No Fear: ledarskap i en tid av digitala cowboys”). I vanliga fall är dessa event begränsade till IMD-alumner men vi kan nu erbjuda ett mindre antal platser till journalister och andra som är intresserade av att delta. Pekka kommer bland annat att tala om konsten att leda team i en global och digital kontext. Eventets andre talare, Bill Fischer, är medförfattare till boken “The Idea Hunter” och kommer att tala om innovation.

Dear Colleagues,

Let us ask ourselves three vital questions:

1. Do you and your company have too many great ideas? [most probably no]

2. Are you consistently outperforming your competition when it comes to innovation? [most probably no]

3. Do you have a genuine inter

est in becoming better at idea generation and innovation? [hopefully yes]

IMD has the pleasure, in cooperation with Fortum, to extend an invitation for you to join the upcoming IMD Business Forum. This is an event where you will gain both practical insight and theory about driving strategic innovation, and become a true Idea Hunter in the increasingly digital environment that we all operate in.

The event will feature two dynamic individuals in IMD Professor Bill Fischer, co-author of “The Idea Hunter” and Director of the Driving Strategic Innovation Program, and Pekka A. Viljakainen, IT entrepreneur, former senior executive at Tieto, and author of ”No Fear: Business Leadership in the Age of Digital Cowboys.” Pekka A. Viljakainen is now working for Skolkovo Foundation.

Ideas are arguably the most valuable asset that a firm [or an individual] can have in a knowledge-based economy, but how do you find the best ideas – the kind that can change industries, boost careers, or alter organizations?
